Programme profile
From the day you start this programme, you are involved in aerospace engineering. Aircraft, rockets and satellites are core study objects. with which you learn basic technical knowledge. And you really need this technical foundation, because the material is difficult and so you will need to work hard to graduate. In the course of the programme the emphasis increasingly shifts from theory to practice.
Practical highlights of the programme include team-based IT assignments in Year1, air measurements in the faculty's Cessna Citation II business jet in Year 2 and your own Design-Synthesis Exercise in Year 3. This is an exercise carried out in a group in which you apply all the knowledge you have acquired in the previous years. This assignment can range from designing an aircraft to planning a satellite mission to Mars.
